All inclusive set. I liked the idea of this set because of all the components that came with it. Other than the matcha and a cup you�ve pretty much got everything you need. The whisk seems nice and sturdy. All the dishware is a nice thickness. Not too heavy but not too delicate. It looks really nice sitting out but can also stack for storage. I love matcha but have been trying not to spend so much on lattes when I�m out and about so this set is perfect for my cravings. It�s also a great gift if you know someone who wants to start making it at home. The price seems reasonable especially for the quality.

The kit is very lovely and I love the the build quality of the pieces of the entire set. I like the light pink color of the set. I make matcha tea at least once a day and the kit has held up very well. I haven't had any chipping of the paint or any cracks develop with regular use. The size of the bowls is perfect for about 2 servings of tea. The bamboo whisk is nice as well, it's a little fragile, but it does work well to get a frothy bubble layer and gives my drinks a nice taste and texture.

The quality of it claims superior ceremonial grade, which is the highest quality grade of matcha, but I did not taste its delicacy compared to other lower grades. I first drank it without adding any other ingredients to enjoy the taste. The flavor combines a grassy, nutty, and a touch of bitterness, giving a subtle sweet aftertaste. The umami is in the savor. Knowing that this grade of matcha should be consumed by itself to appreciate the flavor, yet I enjoyed it more after adding half and half to my drink.

I’m not a matcha connoisseur, but I do like green teas and matcha green tea, so I figured this would be right up my alley.A little goes a long way, and I’m still experimenting with the desired flavor and amount of matcha powder. It blends easily into a paste with some hot water to which I add unsweetened almond or soy milk. I prefer it chilled in the fridge before consumption. A touch of honey makes it even better.

This is a mild yet earthy tasting matcha that is even USDA-certified organic. I am not much of an tea expert but coming from the pleasant sweet taste of green tea leaves or tea bags, the matcha taste is a bit of an acquired taste, in that it is stronger and more earthy with some extra caffeine. I honestly do not taste much of a difference to the ceremonial grade matchas that I have bought. What I did notice is that this one is larger amount and comes in a large reusable tin compared to the tiny tin cans of the ceremonial grade. I will reuse it for all my tea needs. Hence, it also costs only $2 per oz compared to up to $10-12 per oz for ceremonial grade. I do like it as matcha but sometimes adding a litte milk or having it as latte is fun too. In the latter case, there is really no more taste difference to a ceremonial grade anyways.In summary, I really like this one, and think it is an extraordinary good deal for everyday use.
